Hypertherm Retaining Cap is specifically designed for Powermax45 XP/Powermax65/Powermax85/Powermax105 hand and machine plasma torches with current rating of 45 - 105 A. 
The Retaining Cap 220854 is the core locking mechanism of the Hypertherm Powermax45/65/85/105/1000/1250/1650 plasma system, which is used to secure the nozzle and Swirl ring, and perform the functions of hermetic sealing, arc stabilization, and cooling deflection. Suitable for currents ranging from 15-105A, it covers a wide range of needs from fine cutting to medium thickness carbon steel cutting.
