Installation and Maintenance of Laser Cutting Machine Protection Lenses
Note: Do not use iron tools during the operation, as this may damage the components!
1. Removing the Protection Lens
Loosen the two locking nuts on the protection lens assembly by hand and pull out the protection lens drawer.
Quickly seal the opening of the laser head with a non-adhesive protective film after removing the lens.
Place the protection lens drawer (containing the protection lens) in a clean environment for maintenance.
Remove the protective film from the laser head and carefully insert the maintained protection lens set (including the lens) horizontally into the laser head, then lock it in place.
Ensure the orientation of the protection lens set is correct; it cannot be inserted if reversed.
Hand-tighten the two locking nuts on the protection lens assembly with appropriate force.
2. Installation of the Protection Lens

Slightly remove the fixed ring (1) and take out the protection lens (2).
Place the protection lens (2) in a clean container, ensuring the lens surface does not contact any non-gaseous substances.
Cleaning the Protection Lens
Use a lint-free cleaning stick dipped in isopropyl alcohol to clean the protection lens, then use a blower to remove any attached particles or debris.
Repeat this process until the lens is clean.
If the protection lens cannot be cleaned effectively or is damaged, it must be replaced with a new lens.
Checking the Sealing Ring
Inspect the sealing ring for deformation or gaps, as these may cause air leaks. The sealing ring should not fall to the ground or be exposed to dirty, dusty, or rough environments.
Installing the Protection Lens
Carefully place the cleaned protection lens (2) into the holder (4).
Insert the fixed ring (1), ensuring that the sealing ring (3) is positioned beneath the protection lens.
